Stumped!?! Try one of these ideas!

Fiction/Non-Fiction short story

• Find a news story, and write a story from the perspective of a spectator, or bystander.

Poem/Prose

• Describe a favorite (or dreaded) experience using as many senses as possible.
• Describe someone starting with their hands. What do they look like, what are they doing?

Poem

• Start every line with the word "You"  (try other pronouns or a mix, they, we, y'all, I, etc.)

Ideas

• Create a character (looks, interests, motivations, so on) then create a simple 3 act arc for them.

Discovery writing

• Write a one sentence summary of a story you want to write. Copy and paste then add details until it's your story. (I've never gotten this to work, but I suspect it would be pretty cool if it did)
